Other new features coming to HomePod mini
But if you’re thinking about enriching your surroundings with some cute, colorful, AI-powered speaker from Apple, you’ll have to wait until the new HomePod mini colors become available to order sometime in November 2021. To be clear, the new color choices will be joining the existing black and white versions for the same asking price ($99) as before.
HomePod mini will also be getting expanded support for recognizing multiple users everywhere the smart speaker officially sells. This lets multiple people in your household enjoy music tailored to their taste profile, as well as access their own playlists, use the Personal Requests feature and more, all just by using their voice.
This feature is available for up to six users in a home.
