Apple Arcade announced back in June 2021 that it would soon be getting some pretty exciting games, with “Alto’s Odyssey: The Lost City” being one of them. And now, developer Snowman has confirmed that the game is launching on Apple Arcade across the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV devices on Friday, July 16.

Watch a fresh, new trailer for a glimpse of what lies beneath the endless desert.

The Verge reports that the game is debuting a vibrant new city for its Apple Arcade debut.

If you loved the previous two Alto’s games, then “The Lost City” should be a no-brainer. Part of the appeal behind this serene adventure is its procedurally generated landscapes that bring the much-needed variety to keep you engaged.

It’s very much a living, breathing city. It’s not a dusty ruin or empty wilderness like some of the other spaces we’ve depicted. It’s vibrant and alive, and has almost a party atmosphere to it.

The App Store listing for “Alto’s Odyssey: The Lost City” confirms a total of four biomes in the game— From the Dunes, to the Canyons, the Temples and, for the first time, the Lost City. Each of these rich, diverse landscapes brings unique visuals and gameplay.

You will also get Zen and Photo modes like in the previous two games.
