Apple earnings for the March 2021 quarter due on July 27

Apple via its Apple Investor Relations website announced that its latest quarterly earnings will be published on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Apple typically publishes press releases announcing quarterly earnings 30 minutes before the end of the trading day.

At 2pm Pacific / 5pm Eastern on July 27, the company will hold a conference call with analysts and investors, according to the announcement. CEO Tim Cook and CFO Luca Maestri will deliver prepared remarks and answer questions from financial analysts.

Anyone can join the webcast using Safari on their iPhone 7 or later or fifth-generation iPad or later. On Mac, joining the webcast requires Safari on macOS Mojave 10.14 or later. Streaming to the Apple TV requires an AirPlay 2–capable device. Non-Apple platforms can access the stream using recent versions of Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge with support for the MSE, H.264 and AAC codecs.

What to expect from Apple’s Q3 2021 earnings

Apple’s financial performance in the past few quarters has exceeded expectations because the company benefitted from people upgrading their home electronics in the work-from-home era. The iPhone maker did, however, release several new products between January and March 2021 that could positively impact its quarterly performance, including AirTag and new iPads.

And while the new AirTag personal item tracker and the updated Apple TV 4K continue to experience supply issues, the new M1 iPad Pro and the redesigned 24-inch M1 iMac should help the company continue posting gains in terms of Mac sales.

Apple will also unleash a barrage of new hardware products in the fall, with refreshed iPhones, iPads, Macs, watches, AirPods and other updates expected.
