Apple TV+ is absolutely no stranger to prestigious awards. The service, which is just in its second year of eligibility, has picked up a variety of nominations since its debut. And even picked up some big wins, too. And today, it has more than a dozen new nominations to add to its list.
Today, Apple announced that its original video streaming service, Apple TV+, has picked up 19 new Daytime Emmy Award nominations. With this latest batch, this means that the service has earned itself 25 combined nominations from the outfit for this year. (Previous nominations were announced last month.)
This time around, the 48th annual Daytime Emmy Awards are recognizing a variety of different kid- and family-friendly content available on Apple TV+. That includes series like Stillwater (which recently won a Peabody Award) and Ghostwriter. What’s even more impressive is that, this year, Ghostwriter has a total of nine nominations from this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards. That’s impressive all by itself.

Apple notes in its announcement today that Apple TV+ original films, series, and documentaries have been nominated for a combined 408 award nominations since its launch. It has won 117 awards.
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences will be announcing this year’s winners for the 48th annual Daytime Emmy Awards on July 17 and July 18, 2021.
