Odyssey Team updates Taurine jailbreak to v1.0.6 with fix for BSOD & other improvements

The Odyssey Team frequently updates the Taurine jailbreak tool for iOS & iPadOS 14 with new features, bug fixes, and improvements. Today is no different.

Taurine v1.0.6 is now officially available to the general public, introducing important patches and upgrades that jailbreakers won’t want to miss out on.

The Odyssey Team announced the latest Taurine update this afternoon via the @OdysseyTeam_ Twitter account and the Sileo / Taurine / Odyssey Discord channel:

Citing the change log for Taurine version 1.0.6, we can gather that this release brings the following changes:

– Fixes BSOD looping issues on devices with 2 GB RAM
– Fixes memory spiking issues when loading certain large apps
– Improves performance and reliability in low memory situations

The Odyssey Team also recommends ensuring that you have the latest version of libhooker installed for the best results. Version 1.6.2 or later appears to suffice.

As always, we recommend that all Taurine users download and deploy the latest version of the tool at their earliest convenience. Doing so helps keep jailbroken devices bug-free by implementing the latest bug fixes and improvements.

The latest version of Taurine is available to download from the taurine.app website. If you haven’t used Taurine before, then you can follow our step-by-step tutorial to learn how you can use it to pwn iOS or iPadOS 14.
