The new 12.9 iPad Pro has mini-LED backlight that delivers 600 nits of standard brightness, 1000 nits max full-screen brightness and a whopping 1600 nits peak brightness for HDR content. The screen also has a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. Other tidbits include the addition of high-speed Thunderbolt connectivity, 5G networking, an ultra-wide front camera and more.

The 11-inch model doesn’t have a mini-LED screen.

Both models are available in silver and space gray finishes.

The new iPad Pros come in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB configurations. Aside from retail stores and Apple’s authorized resellers, these new tablets can be ordered from apple.com and in the Apple Store app in 31 countries and regions, including the US.
