‘Home Before Dark’ shows off official trailer before the second season premieres June 11 on Apple TV+

Apple TV+ has another series returning for its sophomore season in the near future, with kid journalist Hilde Lisko back on the scene to solve a new case.

Home Before Dark is a family mystery thriller, starring Brooklyn Prince as the young journalist. Prince will be returning in the lead role, and Jim Sturgess (Across the Universe) returns as Lasso’s father. The second season will also feature Kylie Rogers (Yellowstone), Joelle Carter (Justified), Aziza Scott (The Fosters), and Abby Miller (The Sinner), among others.

Apple already confirmed the series’ second season would premiere on Friday, June 11. Now we have an official trailer ahead of that.

Here’s Apple’s description of the upcoming season, which it shared along with the official trailer:

In season two, when a mysterious explosion hits a local farm, reporter Hilde Lisko (Brooklynn Prince) begins an investigation that will lead her to fight a powerful and influential corporation – with the health of her family and Erie Harbor in the balance.

The first season of the mystery series is now streaming on Apple TV+. It’s certainly worth a watch, unless you’re busy watching the first season of Ted Lasso again, preparing for that show’s return.

If you watched the first season of Home Before Dark, what’d you think? Will you be watching the second?
