Odyssey Team’s Taurine jailbreak for iOS 14.0-14.3 updated to version 1.0.1

The Odyssey Team officially launched the brand-new Taurine jailbreak tool for iOS & iPadOS 14.0-14.3 this past week following months’ worth of hype and teasers. But like most new software, releases are trailed by subsequent updates to smooth over any rough edges that may have been left over from beta testing.

Such is the case with the novel Taurine jailbreak, which seems to have received its first official update just this afternoon to version 1.0.1.

The Odyssey Team announced the latest Taurine update using all of its official public communication conduits, which include the Sileo / Taurine / Odyssey Discord channel and the @OdysseyTeam_ Twitter page.

Citing the change log, Taurine version 1.0.1 incorporates the following changes when compared against the original release:

– Fix sandbox issues with certain processes (e.g. WebContent)
– Fix zombie processes on subsequent userspace reboot

At iDownloadBlog, we always recommend that our readers and fellow jailbreakers download and deploy the latest version of any jailbreak they might be using. Doing so helps to ensure long term device stability and keeps everything running at absolute peak performance. Likewise, updates like the one released today often patch bugs that can plague the user experience if left unaddressed.

If you’re already using the Taurine jailbreak and you’d like to get the latest version, simply head over to the taurine.app website and download and open the latest .ipa from there with AltStore while connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer’s AltServer.

If you haven’t already jailbroken your iPhone or iPad with Taurine, and you’d like to learn how, then we recommend reading our step-by-step tutorial to get comfortable with the process before moving forward..
