And that trend continues today, with Logitech unveiling a brand new video doorbell. The company just took the wraps off the Circle View Wired Doorbell, which is available now as an Apple online store exclusive. At the time of publication, the new home accessory is available to order now for $199.95, and should arrive as early as this week if you put your order in today.
This smart doorbell supports HomeKit right out of the box, along with the HomeKit Secure Video feature. With this support, video analysis and important notifications happen on your Apple devices only. And if you store information in iCloud, it’s encrypted before it’s stored in the cloud. And users can set notifications to inform them when animals, people, and other objects enter a specific area covered by the video doorbell. The doorbell can even recognize individuals. And finally, users can store up to 10 days’ worth of camera activity without impacting their iCloud storage limit.
