Verizon is hosting an event with Apple for business customers all about iPhone 12 and 5G

If you ask the wireless carriers in the United States and Apple, 5G is a very big deal. Whether that’s actually the case really comes down to the individual using that technology out in the wild. Still, Verizon’s not done shining a light on the wireless technology.

And Apple’s not quite ready to give up on promoting it, either. Which certainly makes sense, considering the iPhone 12 lineup supports 5G — and Verizon’s fastest 5G connectivity option, mmWave. As such, with the two combining forces at Apple’s iPhone event, it’s no surprise to hear they are working together again for another event. However, this isn’t a major Apple event, but rather a Verizon event primarily for business customers.

Verizon confirmed the event recently, and it will be taking place on Thursday, November 19, 2020. The event starts at 10:00 AM PT/1:00 PM ET, and it will include a variety of people, including Verizon Business’s CEO, Tami Erwin. Apple’s Vice President of Markets, Apps, and Services, Susan Prescott, will also be part of the virtual event.

For Verizon Business customers, this will be a way to see how companies are offering special offers for iPhone 12, which can tape into Verizon’s 5G network.

Additionally, the event will showcase how business customers can use the new iPhone 12 lineup and Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband to power innovative solutions for industries like manufacturing, field service and healthcare. Business customers using new iPhone 12 models on Verizon’s 5G network have the potential to unlock new experiences with apps that will take advantage of the unprecedented speed, massive capacity and ultra low lag time Verizon 5G can offer.

Verizon says this is a “first-of-its-kind” event, which it very well could be for enterprise customers. If you want to register for the event, you can do that from Verizon’s website.

If anything interesting does come from this event, we’ll let you know.
