American audio maker Bose is readying an AirPods competitor, dubbed the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds and preciously known as the Noise Cancelling Earbuds 700. The premium earbuds, delayed multiple times, will apparently feature “truly astonishing” noise cancellation.
The video adds to the description by claiming it to have the ‘world’s most effective’ noise cancellation with ‘breakthrough acoustic innovations’ providing ‘crisp, clear audio and deep rich bass.’
The earbuds will include “hypermobile essential” features such as touch controls, custom-designed microphone array, a choice of virtual assistants and a portable charging case. The earbuds are advertised with a six-hour battery life and are also sweat-resistant.
They come in black or white and are equipped with Bose’s StayHear ear tips.
Pricing remains unknown. Given the accessory will target a market segment served by the AirPods Pro, Bose is unlikely to price the upcoming Bose QuietComfort Earbuds below $250.
