Apple seeds fifth public betas of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 to public beta testers

Hot on the heels of the fifth developer betas of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, Apple is also seeding the corresponding public betas.

On Wednesday, Apple seeded the fifth public betas of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 to public beta testers. This version of the prerelease software will follow along with the corresponding fifth public betas of each mobile operating system, which means you can expect a few new changes to the software. That includes a tweak to choosing a time in the Clock app, a tall widget for the Apple News app, and much more.

To update, those that are part of the public beta test program can download and install the latest beta as an over-the-air update. For those who are not part of the program but want to sign up, you can do so at Apple’s official Beta Software Program website.
