Fantastical maker FlexiBits today launched a new subscription offering aimed at families.
The new Fantastical Premium for Families subscription plan is their most popular feature request. With it, a single family subscription can be shared among up to five family members across their iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. Each member of the family gets their own Flexibit account along with their own personalized settings and calendar data.
The new subscription option allows Fantastical customers and their family members to use Fantastical Premium “for a per-user price that’s much cheaper than a single, individual subscription,” according to the company.
Fantastical Premium for Families is available for $7.99 monthly or $64.99 annually. The latter figure works out to a 32 percent reduction for the monthly plan, or $5.42 per month.
By comparison, the individual Fantastical Premium subscription is priced at $3.33 per month under the annual individual plan. With Fantastical Premium for Families, in other words, all five users who are on an annual plan for families will pay just $1.08 per month per user.
The new family subscription option comes with a 14-day free trial.
To get started, sign in to your Fantastical account on the Flexibits website. Under the Family tab, invite up to 4 additional family members for a total of 5 users per family plan. A single subscription unlocks all features for up to 5 family members and includes all platforms.
