This simple tweak adds a Night Shift toggle to Control Center

When Apple introduced Dark Mode with iOS 13, they were smart enough to integrate a convenient toggle button into the Control Center interface so that users could easily switch between the dark and light interfaces on demand without much headache. That said, it’s somewhat of a head-scratcher as to why Apple didn’t do the same for Night Shift, instead choosing to obfuscate it by hiding it inside of the display brightness module.

If you want a non-obfuscated Night Shift-centric Control Center toggle button, then we’ve got good news for you – jailbroken devices now have access to a newly released and free CCSupport extension dubbed Night Shift Module by iOS developer shepgoba that brings this simple concept to life.

The new Night Shift Module toggle is depicted in both the on and off states in the two screenshot examples above. When turned on, the glyph in the module turns yellow.

Just like all other existing Control Center modules and/or CCSupport extensions, the Night Shift Module can be enabled or disabled on demand through the native Control Center preference pane in the Settings app:

Here, you can drag the module into the “Enabled” section to enable it or the “Disabled” section to disable it. You can also choose where it appears in Control Center by dragging in between other modules to achieve your preferred positioning.

Night Shift Module is a very simple add-on, and if you’re interested in using it to augment your handset’s functionality, then you can download it for free from shepgoba’s repository via your favorite package manager. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 13 devices, requires CCSupport as a dependency, and is open source on the developer’s GitHub page for those interested in learning more about how it works.

If you aren’t already using shepgoba’s repository, then you can add it to your preferred package manager using the following URL:
