T-Mobile and Sprint customers can get a free year of MLB.tv and The Athletic

T-Mobile Tuesdays is a way that the Un-carrier offers various promotions for current subscribers, usually things like a free pizza, discounts on products, and more. But it also offers promotions like a whole year’s worth of MLB.tv, and this year’s deal is even sweeter for sports fans.

On Friday, T-Mobile announced that customers under the magenta banner, as well as the newly-aligned Sprint customers, can pick up a year’s worth of the MLB.tv Premium service at no additional cost. But that’s not all. To help spruce up the promotion, T-Mobile is also offering a year’s worth of a subscription to the sports publication The Athletic.

This season more than ever, we’re so happy to bring back free MLB.TV and give both T-Mobile and Sprint fans another way to connect to the game they love while they’re away from the park,” said Mike Sievert, CEO of T-Mobile. “MLB.TV is hands down one of our most popular T-Mobile Tuesdays offers — last year, our customers streamed over 17 MILLION hours of MLB.TV! We know you can’t get to a game this season, so we’re bringing the games to you!

T-Mobile and Sprint customers, using either iOS or Android, can redeem the promotion beginning Tuesday, July 21. It will be available until August 4, so make sure you redeem the offer before it expires.

For baseball fans, this year’s Opening Day was rescheduled to July 23 in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. With MLB.tv Premium, customers will be able to watch every out-of-market game with either home or away feeds to watch. Customers can watch the streams on a range of devices, including iOS, on the web, on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, the Apple TV, and many other devices. An MLB.tv Premium subscription also offers access to even more features in the official MLB app.

This is a great deal if you like baseball, so who’s going to redeem the promotion next week ahead of Opening Day?
