Apple is now selling refurbished 2020 MacBook Air models

Apple refreshed the MacBook Air lineup earlier this year, but if you were waiting to pick one up until refurbished models became available, the wait is over.

MacRumors was first to point out the new addition on Apple’s online storefront for refurbished models. The refurbished models are available in the United States, and the price discount is 15 percent off the original launch cost. The most expensive model is priced at $1,909, while the cheapest you can pick up a MacBook Air originally released in March 2020 is $849.

As is the case with all of Apple’s certified refurbished models, each model has a one-year warranty, and come with free delivery and returns. They also include:

  • Full functional testing, genuine Apple part replacements (if necessary), and a thorough cleaning
  • The original Operating System or a more recent version
  • All refurbished devices are repackaged in a brand new box with all accessories and cables

If you want to extend the warranty on your refurbished MacBook Air, you can pick up AppleCare+ for just $249. That will add an additional two years to the coverage, giving you three years.
