Apple brings on Warner Music veteran to head Apple Music initiatives

Apple is making a big addition to the Apple Music leadership group, bringing on a veteran of Warner Music Group.

That’s according to a report from Reuters today, which states that Apple has hired Jeff Bronikowski, a former Warner Music executive. Bronikowski joins Apple Music as the new Global Head of Strategic Music Initiatives. Bronikowski made the “announcement” via his LinkedIn page, updating to reflect the transition over to Apple Music recently.

While at WMG, Bronikowski served as the Senior Vice President of Global Business Development and Head of New Technology and Innovation. So, at Apple, his work title is much shorter, but it doesn’t sound any less important by any means.

That’s about all we have to go on here. The report doesn’t include any major initiatives that Bronikowski is already spearheading for Apple Music. But it will definitely be interesting to see what happens in the months ahead.

How are you hoping to see Apple Music change this year?
