Trackr, Unify, Ten and other apps to check out this weekend

Apps of the week

In this edition of our Apps of the Week roundup, we take a look at a to-do list manager for students, an image editor that quickly fixes group photos, and a new kind of social network with a focus on privacy. And as always, we’ve selected two great new games for you to check out.

Trackr

Are you currently in school, or thinking of going back? Trackr is an assignment manager built with students in mind. Features include a simple view of all of your assignments and courses, which is customizable and can be edited, support for Siri Shortcuts and Today widgets, and much more. Heck even if you’re not a student, this app looks interesting enough to check out in the Todo list space.

Unify

Unify is an app that enables you to easily clean up bad group photos. So whether it be someone blinking or not smiling, you can fix it with a few simple taps. I know there are already apps out there that do this, but I like Unify’s simple and intuitive interface, and the fact that all of the effects are applied on device—not sent out to servers where you have no idea who is looking at or saving your photos.

Ten

Ten is the social network for those that would like to keep things private and their circle of friends and family small. It’s fairly simple: pick your 10 favorite people and then 10 photos to share with them. Live Photos are played on a loop and still images are auto-enhanced with things like brightness. Sharing can be as automatic or manual as you like, but the point is: you can be yourself and not some persona.

Zombie Blast Crew

It’s been 11 months since the infection started. Everyone fled the cities, and zombies have taken over the streets and buildings. The folks waited on a hero, but the hero never came. Now it’s on you to come to the rescue, in Zombie Blast Crew. Pick your survivor, select your mission, pack your gear —weapons, medkits, etc., scout the area, and take down anything that glows green.
