Today is Halloween, the last day of the spooky season. You can’t let this day pass by without some scares! That can only mean one thing: it’s time to play some scary games. And there’s no better place to find them than on Apple Arcade.
Actually, there are better places to find scary games. Granted, there are not many spooky games in Apple Arcade so far. So I’m bringing you 4 games that’ll leave you scared, anxious and craving for more. At least that’s what most of them did to me.
Jenny LeClue – Detectivu
Jenny LeClue – Detectivu is a puzzle game that follows Jenny, the best detective in the world living in Arthurton, the quietest town in the world, where nothing bad seems to happen. That is until someone is murdered and is Jenny’s job to find out who actually did it. Mostly because of personal reasons. You’ll face a lot of mysteries and the deeper you go into this mystery, the more secrets you find.
The Bradwell Conspiracy
The Bradwell Conspiracy is a mystery game where you are trapped in an underground facility after an explosion at the Stonehenge Museum Fundraiser. You have to get out of there but the only way to do it is by communicating with another person who’s also trapped with you. And the only way to communicate is by using pictures. This game has a great narrative and atmosphere. It will keep you feeling uneasy while looking for a way to escape.
Inmost
INMOST follows 3 different characters with a dark story connecting them. You can choose to play as a knight, a little girl or an ordinary man. This game is more of a platformer game, but it does have creepy environment and art style. Plus, it’s a really entertaining game that you should check out even if it’s not Halloween.
Stela
Stela is one of the best games available on Apple Arcade right now. You’ll follow Stela in a creepy adventure as she witnesses the last days of an ancient civilization. This platforming game makes you feel small and powerless as you go through all kinds of environments where every living thing is a deadly enemy.
