AirPods Pro early impressions roundup: impressive sound quality, solid fit, and more

On Monday, Apple launched the AirPods Pro truly wireless headphones. The new earbuds feature a new design and plenty of new features, all bringing the total price up to $249.

And now we’ve got some early impressions of the new AirPods Pro from a variety of sources. In the three videos below, you’ll be able to see different aspects of the new in-ear headphones, including the Ear Tip Fit Test that’s possible with the flexible silicone tips that Apple includes with the AirPods Pro.

This is a quick roundup, some early unboxing videos and early impressions. So without a full review to go on here just yet, all we can go on is the positive early marks. Indeed, the hands-on impressions reveal that the sound quality from Apple’s newest in-ear AirPods are quite good.

As for fit, one impression says that the new in-ear tips equal more comfortability than the standard AirPods — but that’s obviously a purely subjective thing, and some folks might still prefer the standard AirPods design without the in-ear tips.

The AirPods Pro feature a Lightning to USB-C cable in the box for wired charging, but the case also supports wireless charging as well.

In any event, I’ll just get out of the way and let the videos do the talking:

The AirPods Pro feature Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode so you can hear the world around you when you want, water- and sweat-resistance, and much more. As mentioned above they cost more than the standard AirPods, though, tagged at $249.

We’ll have our own hands-on video(s) of the AirPods Pro in the near future, so stay tuned.
