CustomSiriBG lets you change the Siri interface background

If you’re interested in changing the default background of the Siri interface to something new, then you just might want to check out a newly-released and free-to-download jailbreak tweak dubbed CustomSiriBG by iOS developer TylerD3V.

In the screenshot example above, you’ll notice that the default Siri background has been changed to something more Pokémon-centric, and of course, you can always use something different if Pokémon isn’t your thing.

CustomSiriBG is entirely cosmetic, and with that in mind, changing the Siri interface’s background won’t impact how you use your virtual assistant in any way, shape, or form.

Once installed, CustomSiriBG puts a preference pane in the Settings app where you can configure the tweak to your liking:

Here, you can:

  • Toggle CustomSiriBG on or off on demand
  • Choose an image file from your Photo Library to use for Siri’s background

The developer provides an Apply button at the top right of the interface that can be used to save any changes you make.

If you’re interested in giving CustomSiriBG a try, then you can download it for free from the Packix repository in Cydia or Sileo. The tweak supports all jailbroken devices running iOS 11 or 12.
