Nomad’s titanium Apple Watch band launches, resembles a high-end metal link bracelet

Nomad today released its first metal band for Apple Watch that the accessory maker previewed in January at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show 2019 in Las Vegas.

Designed with 316 premium custom stainless steel lugs, it’s been engineered to be as light and strong as possible while giving you “the confidence of a high-end metal link bracelet”.

The strap fits wrist sizes ranging from 135mm to 220mm.

This thing looks absolutely beautiful.

Featuring “unprecedented resistance to the elements,” it uses over twenty links made from high-grade titanium to encompass a modern take on a classic metal link bracelet. Dubbed Titanium Band, the accessory files as Nomad’s strongest Apple Watch strap to date.

You can remove some of the links to adjust band size.

“Built with our custom lugs, this lightweight and robust strap can withstand the roughest of conditions and still look great on date night or in the boardroom,” Nomad said. The metal band is capable of resisting a 5-20 kgf lateral slide-out force when installed in your Apple Watch.

Looks better than Apple’s Link Bracelet while costing much less.

Titanium Band is available in Silver or Black and comes with the included tools you’ll need in order to remove the ten removable links to adjust its size.

It’s compatible with all Apple Watch editions and sizes.

Titanium Band is available starting today for $179.95.
