For unknown reasons, Apple pulls macOS Mojave 10.14.2 beta 1 shortly after releasing it [U]

The first beta of macOS Mojave 10.14.2, released earlier this morning alongside other minor developer betas for iOS 12.1.1 and tvOS 12.1.1, is no longer found on Apple’s Dev CenterUPDATE: On Thursday, November 1, the pulled beta again became available for developers to download through Apple’s Dev Center portal.

As evidenced by the screenshot top of post, macOS Mojave 10.14.2 beta 1 is no longer available to download through Apple’s portal for developers. Just to be sure about this, here’s a screenshot we took earlier this morning when writing about the new OS betas.

The macOS Mojave 10.14.2 beta used to be listed, too, but isn’t anymore

It would seem that Apple has been experiencing some unforeseen issues with its latest beta OS software, all over again. For instance, yesterday’s watchOS 5.1 beta got abruptly pulled after it came to light that the software update had been bricking some watches.

It’s unclear why the macOS update was pulled.

At post time, we couldn’t get to the bottom of this and neither did other users on social media, but we’ll make sure to update the post with any new information as it becomes available.
