Music identification app Shazam now lets you scan QR Codes thanks to the latest update with camera support.

Now any image that contains QR codes or the Shazam camera logo can be scanned within the app to unlock additional content, interactive experiences, special offers and other embedded content.

To get started, just tap the new camera icon on the home screen to get started. In addition to support for QR Codes, this edition of Shazam lets you log in with your email address, which allows you to check out your discoveries later through the web interface at shazam.com.

Logged-in users should also experience a more personalized Shazam. Shazam is used by more than a hundred million people each month to discover and identify media.

The service is integrated with Siri in iOS 8 and includes a WatchKit component for identifying songs with a Glance, with data on the artist, song title and even real-time lyrics available on your Apple Watch.
