Asphalt 8 updated with new tracks in Dubai, Twitch improvements and more

French games maker Gameloft today issued a nice update to its popular arcade racing game, Asphalt 8: Airborne, available as a free-to-play download for the iPhone and iPad in the App Store.

The update invites you to “discover the treasures of the Middle East” and “tear up the asphalt” with the brand new Dubai location, five new cars, a brand new season and gameplay streaming via the Twitch platform (now owned by Amazon) on previous-generation devices like the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c and fourth-generation iPad.

As mentioned above, a brand new ninth season is also available with 74 new events. Among the five new cars included in this update are the Mercedes-Benz Biome concept car and the Nissan GT-R NISMO.

Speaking of Dubai, this most populous city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates is rumored to become home to the largest Apple Store yet, according to EDGARDaily.com.
