Street Notes will get you ready for the most organized trip of your life

Street Notes 1 I know I’ve mentioned before how much I love lists. I am a big fan of organizing everything. I know it is silly, but I am not a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants kind of girl. I like to know what is coming, even when I’m trying to plan a trip to go sit on a beach and do nothing.

Street Notes is an organization app that lets you prepare for your trip in advance by collecting and storing notes, websites, and other information to get you ready for the best, most organized trip of your life…

Let’s say you are going to spend a week or two in Southern California for a summer vacation. You know you want to visit Disneyland, but what are you going to do for the rest of the trip? Checking out Yelp and other user-based review sites can help generate ideas. Friends who’ve been to the area will always have suggestions on secret spots off the beaten path that you should check out. You may want to finally visit all of those quirky buildings you’ve marked in that travel book you got a few years ago.

Street Notes 3Street Notes is designed to make it easy to add all of those ideas and organize them into a great vacation with a personal travel map so you can easily see where the next destination is.

The app remembers places so you can add annotations, pictures, and bookmarks for later reference. The overview map lets you see all of the places you’ve bookmarked in one interactive view. You can search for places from a variety of social and online databases, like Foursquare, Wikipedia, and Apple’s MapKit. The built-in browser makes it possible for you to bookmark related information without needing to switch between apps. You can include hours of operation, dress code requirements, and other important information for planning your trip.

Street Notes 2You can also manage your maps separately. Store your trips grouped by destination, like city, island, or region. Once you’ve planned your trip, you can export your adventure to a variety of social networking sites, like Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. Your newly created map will include links to websites, directions, and more. Check out a sample map on the company’s Tumblr page.

Street Notes is available on the iPad for $3.99. Download it in the App Store today.
