Apple is on a profit run that most companies would die for. Last quarter, the company posted staggering earnings results led by the sales of their iDevice products. It's certainly no secret that Apple is onto something with their iPhones and iPads.

But it's not just the gadgets, Apple has built an entire ecosystem around these iOS products. An App Store, a music store, everything's a tap away for iOS users. Have you ever wondered how much money Apple makes off of these purchases?

All EA iOS Games Are Now $0.99

EA, the popular game publisher on the App Store has discounted all their games on the App Store to $0.99. EA is among one of the top selling publishers in the App Store currently. Usually each weekend before a holiday, EA hosts a sale in which they discount all their games to $0.99.

The occasion for this sale is the 4th of July. I would recommend that you buy your games before Monday in case they end the sale on Tuesday. There is currently a vast selection of games for your to pick from...

Are Suppliers Beginning to Prepare Materials for the Next iPhone and iPad?

According to a report published this morning by DigiTimes, Apple's suppliers are being told to start preparing materials in order to initiate production of two of their most popular products -- the iPhone, and the iPad.

While it's obvious that after breaking their normal summer release schedule we'll see a new iPhone this fall, the iPad 3 news is interesting to say the least.

Another interesting point of note included in the report, is that Apple will only release one new iPhone instead of the rumored two....

Will Apple Make the iPhone 3GS Free and the iPhone 4 $99?

We've been hearing a lot of rumors suggesting Apple might be releasing a low-cost iPhone this fall. Analysts predict the timing is right for the Cupertino company to enter the low-end smartphone market and they love to speculate.
