Monument Valley

If you haven’t tried out Monument Valley yet, you’re missing out on an unforgettable experience. This is quite easily one of the best, and certainly among the most beautifully done platform games available on the iPhone and iPad.

If you live in North America and are a fan of Starbucks, the unique game, which costs $3.99 in the App Store, can now be yours in exchange for zero bucks as it’s currently Starbucks’ Free App of the Week.

The surreal puzzler created by Ustwo, the team that brought us Blip Blup and Whale Trail, challenges you to manipulate impossible architecture and guide the silent princess Ida through a stunningly beautiful world.

Seriously, you don want to miss this one out.

Just waltz inside your nearest Starbucks, grab yourself a latte and redeem this gem of a game off of their Wi-Fi. The promotion was confirmed by Ustwo co-founder Miles on Twitter.

As revealed by Twitter user Michelle Mauk, Starbucks locations in the United States, Mexico and Canada should have received the Monument Valley promotional cards by now.

  • Hi

Hmm wonder if it in the uk

    • I was in a main StarBucks in Birmingham this morning and didn’t see any 🙁

  • Jason Baroni

Thanks to Starbucks, IGN and Apple’s app of the week, I have been making an amazing game library for free.

The app of the week is still 2do… So bad… I’m really excited to experiment the Monument Valley.

    • Gabriel Anaya

2do actually isn’t so bad. Yeah sure, for just simple tasks it’s overkill (I still use clear for simple tasks) but for important dates, projects, school, work, and complex tasks in general, this is actually very nice. Plus the widget it comes with is great.

      • Lineker Pereira 

2Do seems like a good app but I use Reminders and sometimes the Clear so I decided not to download. Do you think that 2Do is better than Reminders and Clear?

      • Gabriel Anaya

It’s much more comprehensive, but again, I don’t use it for simple tasks, like “Take out trash” or “Walk the dog”. I just use clear for simple tasks. I use 2do for for important dates and projects and stuff. I can add a lot of information, and for example if I get a project,I can add notes and instructions, along with other neat features in the app and again,I really like the widget. If you want something to manage your complex tasks with more comprehensiveness, then I’m sure you’ll get some use out of 2do.
