Fly 0.93 for iOS (teaser 002)

The App Store is home to some of the best photography and video editing apps on any mobile platform so there are plenty of choices for video editors and mobile podcasters, from Apple’s own iMovies app to innovative third-party solutions like MixBit by YouTube creators, Pinnacle Studio by Corel and Chromic, to name a few.

If you’re really serious about editing video on the go and want to compose advanced edits with professional-looking effects that go beyond ready-made templates, look no further thanFly by Fly Labs, an innovative and fast video editor that supports multi-device video capture function.

Available free of charge in the App Store, Fly brings multi-cam editing to your iPhone and lets you compose videos with picture-in-picture and split-screen effects using simple and intuitive gestures…

For starters, Fly supports features commonly found in typical video editors on the App Store, such as trims, cuts and dissolves.

To create the split-screen effect, you simply tap two videos at once. Split screen is effective when you want to compare ‘before’ and ‘after’ shots.

As for picture-in-picture, just tap with two fingers.

What really sets apart Fly from the rest of the crop is multi-cam editing.

This allows you to control up to four cameras with a single iPhone over Bluetooth. The videos are synced automatically and you can easily cut to any camera and share live video captures. As always, there’s a catch: multi-cam editing is a $9.99 In-App Purchase.

Finally, to really liven up your videos, add your own music and even voiceover, both of which Fly supports seamlessly.

Highlights include:

  • Import from your Camera Roll, or use in-app camera
  • Create videos up to five minutes long
  • Add dissolve transitions, split screen & picture-in-picture
  • Add music and voiceover
  • Trim and rearrange clips
  • Make multi-angle videos with multiple devices

For multi cam over wifi, I use Vizzywig. Great great app. Use it with iPad to control up to 8 iDevice. Very simple. Then you have multi angle of the scene and can edit.
    I recommand.
