I’ll Wait, But first , let me jailbreak my iOS 7.1.1.

  • Al

Jumping ahead to iOS 7 from a jailbroken iOS 6, I definitely understand it. The radical change from iOS 6 to iOS 7… Was an understandable update.

But iOS 8 does not provide enough features to justify removing the jailbroken iOS 7. Jeff raved about ProWidgets and now you move on so quickly. The WWDC caused so much hype and I almost bought into it. Until I was able to have first hand experience of iOS 8 and realizing I won’t be able to go back to iOS 7.0.6 or below. No way I’ll be giving up my jailbreak.

    Your brave, Jeff.

I have iOS 8 on my iPad 3 but no way would I put it on my jailbroken 5s. It’s just too buggy at the moment (which is of course to be expected for a first beta)…

    • Capirexz

I think iOS 8 will come out early, iPhone 6 is coming early ?
I dont know but I think July and August?

      Forgive me iPhone 4.

  • David Gitman

how come apple didn’t released new iTunes to support iOS 8?

    • ✪ aidan harris ✪

      One word ‘beta’…

It’ll come just not right now…

      • David Gitman

I know its a beta man

unlimited data + Jailbroken phone + TetherMe = Priceless

    • ✪ aidan harris ✪

I used to tether all the time on my old carrier using TetherMe but they updated their systems to detect tethering and once detected disabled my data for 30 minutes…

      • Foellarbear

That’s unfortunate. No problems here on Verizon Network!

      • mlee19841

sucks.. i lost the unlimited data years back on verizon… blows that they let people still keep it but wont reinstate it to customers….

Anyone know how to get pages.app keynote.app or numbers.app developer update for iOS 8?

    I’m running ios8

    Thank you

  • Khis Ariasaif

I will not give up my jailbreak on my main driver at the moment but once I get the iPhone 6 I will jailbreak as soon as there is a jailbreak available for IOS 8. But it’s good to know if in the future I do lose my Jailbreak that IOS 8 has implemented lots of jailbreak tweaks from the jailbreak community.

  • ok so Im listening to the podcast and someone says “Hey Siri” and my iPad across the room running beta 8 heard the query…..

  • Joseph A. Ahmad

Just remember, in addition to saying “Hey, Siri” while the device is plugged in, Siri can also be invoked if one is inside the Siri interface as well. And if you’re inside the Siri interface, the device does not need to be plugged in. This may change, but I hope not.
