Apple releases WWDC app and conference schedule

Apple has just posted on its website a list of WWDC 2012 events and conference schedules. If you’re among the lucky ones who managed to snag tickets on time, chances are you’ll be lost in over a hundred sessions and labs. Don’t worry, there’s an app for that, too…

If you have purchased your ticket, you can access the official conference schedule.

Apple says there will over a hundred sessions and labs in six technical categories: Essentials, App Services, Developer Tools, Safari and Web, Core OS and Graphics, Media and Games.

New attendees should also check out Apple’s brand new Attendee Guide with links to useful resources and quick tips on planning out your WWDC week.

As for the official app, a free universal binary from the App Store, you can use it it browse the schedule of sessions, labs and special events wherever you are, mark and view your favorites, get notifications on the latest news, view daily snapshots from WWDC and access maps to find your way around Moscone West.

WWDC kicks off on Monday, June 11, 2012 and runs through Friday, June 15. The event takes place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco and iDB will be on hand to provide highlights and important announcements as they happen.
