iOS 4.3.1 has been out for less than a month, and Apple is already planning on releasing 4.3.2 in the coming week. According to BGR, iOS 4.3.2 will address minor bugs and several issues concerning the iPad.

The folks at BGR have already gotten their hands on 4.3.2, and they claim that Apple will push the update for all iDevices in the next seven days…

“One of our Apple sources has just let us know that Apple’s iOS 4.3.2, due within the next week or so, will fix the issues we’ve been hearing about with some Verizon iPad 2 models. Additionally, the new update is said to contain a fix for FaceTime in addition to security fixes for things like WebKit vulnerabilities and other minor changes.”

We heard that 4.3.2 was on the distant horizon a few days ago, and it looks like Apple will indeed push the update soon.

On the iPhone, there have been multiple complaints of battery and Wi-Fi issues on iOS 4.3.1. It doesn’t appear that Apple will be addressing any of these issues in 4.3.2.

You can currently jailbreak iOS 4.3.1. As usual, do not update to 4.3.2 before a new jailbreak is released.

4.3.2 looks to be a very minor update that may not affect the iPhone at all, but we’ll keep you posted as more details are revealed.

Have you been experiencing any problems on 4.3.1? If you’ve suffered from the FaceTime bug, 4.3.2 looks to be the fix.

Wait, all iDevices? Including the 2gen iPod touch?

    • Not the iDevices that are not currently supported. Apple is not picking up older generations to support that have already been abandoned.

Darn it! I really got my hopes up on this post. Thanks Alex!

You can still update to 4.3.2 if whited00r pushes the update like they did for 4.2.1 in that case all generations are supported nd there is no lag

      • Matthew

But you can’t use winterboard with whited00r I’m pretty sure.

Hope they forget to patch i0n1c’s untether.

personally I am still on 4.2.1 broken with GreenPoison….. the wife is running 4.3.1 broken with Redsn0w…. I haven’t seen enough of a difference to abandon 4.2.1……

I just won’t bother with 4.3.2 on either device.

    • Nick4G

Me too, David. I’ll stay on 4.2.1 until my two year plan expires with AT&T this December!

  • Doug

This is dumb. I’m still on 4.2.1. I don’t want to use dev team jailbreak because they seem very buggy. But no one else had announced that they’re releasing any additional options. Idk what to do. I don’t need unlock because I am very happy w at&t

  • haha

I just upgraded to ios 4.3.1 two days ago. So far the phone seems a little more sluggish than when i was on 4.2.1. I notice the option of personal hotspot but that’ll require a fee with AT&T anyways. Overall, really no need to upgrade if you have the option to go only up to 4.2.1. I’ll see how things go, then maybe upgrade my wife’s to 4.2.1 instead of the newest 4.3.2 when it’s out.

TetherMe let you use personal hotspot feature without having to pay an extra fee to at&t for 4.99 in the cydia store

      • moimoimoimoi

yea been using TetherMe since it started – great app… recent versions even let you modify your APN settings if your carrier blocks them… its nice because it just uses iOS native settings – so no integration woes

I have Bluetooth dropping issues since last upgrade

  • DebTym

i want to downgrade to 4.2.1. is it safe? esp. in preserving the baseband. i rely on an unlock

  • DebTym

BTW Can you make a tutorial how to downgrade 4.3.1 to 4.2.1 while preserving the baseband. That will be a great help.

After i updated to 4.3.1 from 4.2.1, i’ve had the battery problem, but also found that it has been eating up a lot of RAM, which is my biggest concern. I used to have about 160mb free (after using sbsettings) on 4.2.1 but now i only get 135-140mb!! anyone else have similar issues?? I have been having Wi-Fi issues since 4.2.1. Any suggestions?? I used redsn0w to jb btw.

    • DebTym

Me too..i used to have 380mb of ram on my ip4, now after updating to 4.3.1 all i got was 350mb..a HUGE difference which concerns me too.
