Hulu Plus app updated with all new iPad UI, recommendations and more

Hulu Plus users will be happy to know that the streaming video service has released a massive update to its iOS client this afternoon. The update brings the app to version 2.0 and includes a wealth of improvements.

The biggest change in today's release is the 'entirely new experience' for iPad. The entire UI has been redone for the tablet to make browsing for your favorite shows, and discovering new ones, easier than ever before...

Snapchat 5.0 is out with updated UI, in-app profiles and more

Popular chat and picture messaging app Snapchat just posted a fairly significant update, bringing the application to version 5.0. The update features a handful of improvements, including a revamped user interface.

Also included in the update, which is apparently code-named Banquo, is swipe navigation, the ability to double tap to reply to messages, in-app profiles, and more. As usual, we have the full change log after the fold...

Apple releases iTunes 11.0.4 with improved syncing and other bug fixes

Apple has posted an update for iTunes this morning, bringing the software to version 11.0.4. The update comes just a few weeks after the big 11.0.3 release, which included a revamped mini player, support for multidisc albums, and more.

Unfortunately, today's update isn't nearly as glamorous. As you can see in the change log posted above, it's more of a maintenance release, with fixes for two well known bugs having to do with device syncing and user login requests...

Amazon has today released an update for its native Kindle iOS app, bringing the e-reader client to version 3.8. The update includes a mix of a handful of new features and numerous bug fixes and improvements.

AT&T lights up LTE in 16 new markets, expands in 3 others

It seems like AT&T is determined to keep its promise of adding 80 new LTE markets by the end of summer. Last week it lit up the high-speed service in 10 new markets, and this week it's activated it in another 16.

Hacked Sprint carrier update could improve your device’s network performance

Reeder to add Feedly and Feed Wrangler support as Google Reader shuts down

Alaska Airlines updates app with Passbook support

Good news future travelers. Alaska Airlines has updated its official iPhone app today to allow its customers to access digital boarding passes using their iPhones. The update, which brings the app to version 2.6, includes support for Passbook.

Now you can start playing on your iPhone and continue right where you left off on the iPad, and vice versa.

This is tremendously useful in today's multi-device world and it's a shame other game makers don't support cloud saves out of the box. Grand Theft Auto 3 also now plays nice on the iPhone 5's taller screen and you can use your own iTunes playlist...
