The popular Photoshop alternative, Pixelmator, on Tuesday refreshed its iPhone, iPad and iPod touch application on the App Store, bringing out two desktop-class tools—Magnetic Selection and Quick Selection—along with numerous selection improvements and a bunch of fixes for the Apple Pencil, the iPhone version of the app and more. The Smart Selection and Magnetic Selection tools first appeared in Pixelmator for Mac in May 2016.

Apple this morning released a third beta of iOS 10 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The latest build is available right now to developers registered with Apple Developer Program and public beta testers signed on Apple Beta Software Program. iOS 9.3.3 released with bug fixes and performance improvements
Apple is releasing minor OS updates to its install base today, starting with a bug-fix focused watchOS 2.2.2 update for the Apple Watch and continuing with iOS 9.3.3, which appears to include a bunch of bug fixes and unspecified performance improvements. The update can be applied on your device over-the-air in Settings → General → Software Update or downloaded through desktop iTunes.
Nintendo delays Pokémon Go launch in France “as a sign of respect” for Nice victims
Last Thursday's deadly terrorist attack in France's Nice left eighty-four people dead when an attacker ploughed a lorry into people celebrating the national Bastille Day on the Promenade des Anglais. In the aftermath of the attack, Nintendo is postponing the planned release of Pokémon Go in the country out of respect for the French people “in this time of national mourning,” a Pokémon Company spokesperson told IGN France.
Facebook SDK for Swift beta now available to iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS developers
This past weekend, the social networking giant Facebook announced that a beta version of its brand new software development kit (SDK) for Apple's Swift programming language is available for download. The new SDK integrates Facebook buttons into iOS, watchOS, macOS and tvOS apps written in Swift, and integrates such features like Facebook Login, Analytics for Apps, Graph API and Share to Facebook sheets. The Facebook SDK source code is available via GitHub on an open-source basis.

Spark for iPhone is locking some people out of their Apple IDs, Readdle blames server issues
Reports surfaced yesterday on Reddit that some users of Readdle's excellent free mobile email client, Spark for iPhone, got locked out of their Apple ID account. Some of the affected people were able to re-gain access by performing a password reset on their Apple ID. It would appear that an error on Spark's servers has caused this behavior though Readdle assured customers that there was no breach or data leak.
Pokémon Go is now available in Italy, Spain, Portugal, UK and Germany
Nintendo's tremendously successful Pokémon Go is expanding in more countries across Europe. In addition to releasing on the App Store in Germany and the United Kingdom a few days ago, the augmented-reality game which requires people to go out hunting for pokémon is now available for download in Italy, Spain and Portugal.
