iOS developer 0xilis has released a new and free jailbreak tweak for iOS & iPadOS 15 devices called Safecuts that purportedly makes Shortcuts app usage safer on devices running iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.3.1.
Many prospective jailbreakers have kept their devices at iOS or iPadOS 15.x despite having the option upgrade to the newer and more enticing iOS 16 software update. The wait is testing a lot of holdouts’ patience, but with so many people working on some form of iOS or iPadOS 15.x jailbreak, something’s bound to materialize one way or another.
Following a rigorous beta period, Apple unleashed its iOS & iPadOS 15.4 software updates for iPhone and iPad last Monday with huge upgrades, such as being able to unlock an iPhone with Face ID while wearing a mask and support for Universal Control, among other things. As we come up on a full week after the release, it’s unsurprising to see that Apple has now stopped signing the previous release: iOS & iPadOS 15.3.1.
