Apple took the wraps off its promised new Battery Health capability in beta 2 of iOS 11.3. This new feature lets select iPhone users see the health of their battery, as well as disable Apple's performance management features (read: CPU throttling) if they so choose.
Apple seeded iOS 11.3 beta 2 this morning, and the update brings about a new feature labeled Battery Health. As the name suggests, the feature is designed to provide iOS users with more information about their batteries.
Apple on Tuesday seeded the second betas of iOS 11.3 and tvOS 11.3 to developers. Registered developers can install the new betas from Apple's Developer Center, or by using each platform's respective over-the-air updating mechanism.
