Apple recommends a Samsung folding phone in an embarrassing social media blunder
The official Apple Support account on China's Weibo social media platform promoted a video advertisement for Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 7 by mistake.
Samsung's new Galaxy Z Flip folding smartphone takes advantage of the company's ultra-thin glass, but YouTuber Zack Nelson aka JerryRigEverything discovered that the Z Flip display scratched just as easily in his durability test as plastic OLED panels on other foldable devices, including Samsung's own ill-fated Galaxy Fold model.
At the same event where Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy S20 series, the company has also introduced its newest foldable phone.
Samsung during last night's Academy Awards ceremony aired an inaugural television commercial showing off its upcoming foldable phone, dubbed Z Flip.
