Evernote Food app receives inevitable image filter update

Epicures and foodies rejoice, Evernote has finally added image filters to its Food application. It seems like this move has been inevitable, ever since Evernote debuted the app—which allows you to take photos, notes and tag your favorite meals—back in 2011.

Yelp iOS app updated with new feature for ordering food

Popular rating and review service Yelp has posted an update for its iOS application today, bringing the app to version 6.9.1. The update only really includes one new notable feature, but it's a big one: the ability to order food without leaving the app.

Food Network brings its top TV shows to iOS

Great news this afternoon for all of you Chopped and Iron Chef fans, you can now watch your favorite TV shows on your iPhone or iPad. Food Networks released a new iOS app today called Watch Food Network and that allows you to watch some of its top programming on the go.

The app support the streaming of some of the Food Networks' most popular shows—including Diners Drive-Ins and Dives and Restaurant Impossible—as well as AirPlay, so you can stream content to your Apple TV, and iCloud sync, so you can always pick up where you left off...

London’s sushi place tests iPad-controlled iTray

Yo! Sushi, a UK restaurant franchise, made a name for itself by delivering sushi to customers using the Japanese style 'kaiten' conveyor belt method. In a nice marketing gimmick, they are testing out the iTray, an iPad-controlled quadricopter which delivers sushi on flying trays to surprised customers. The method is being trialled by staff at Yo!
