The Apple Store app has been updated to support location based check-in and reservation services for customers at Apple Stores. These Foursquare-like check-ins will help customers find Apple employees to assist them while their shopping.

On launch day of the iPhone 4 I was 26th in line at the Mall of America. I arrived at 2 in the morning and by the time Apple opened their doors there were easily over 300 people waiting behind me. I know that everyone in line that day didn't go home with the new iPhone. It was blissfully maddening.

This is the second Apple Store to be robbed in just 2 weeks. This time, it's my local Apple Store at UTC Mall in San Diego that got robbed, as reported by 9 to 5 Mac. We just told you that AT&T was running out of iPhone 4 for pre-order. Well, it seems Apple itself is running out of iPhones as well. According to 9 to 5 Mac, the Apple Store is backed up at least until July. I'm glad my order went it on time. I hope you were as lucky as I was.
