Updates to the unc0ver v2.1.0 pre-release this week bring new features and fix bugs

Pwn20wnd initially launched the pre-release of unc0ver v2.1.0 for public testing almost a week ago, and as it would seem, the hacker has been somewhat busy refining the tool ahead of the upcoming official public launch.

Citing Pwn20wnd’s official GitHub repository, the unc0ver v2.1.0 pre-release has seen revisions on at least three separate occasions since our original story, with the latest change taking place just yesterday.

Hide the Control Center grabber from the iPhone X’s Lock screen with NoCCBar

If you have any of Apple’s latest handsets with rounded-corner displays, such as the iPhone X, XS/XS Max, or XR then chances are you’re familiar with the tiny Control Center grabber that appears at the top-right corner of the Lock screen, as depicted above.

For whatever reason, this grabber doesn’t appear anywhere else in iOS besides the Lock screen; yet you can invoke Control Center from anywhere by swiping down from the top-right corner of the display.

Yes your new iPad might come slightly bent, but Apple says it’s normal

Apple on Wednesday confirmed that some of its 2018 iPad Pros are shipping with a slight bend in the aluminum chassis. Following a viral YouTube video and several user complaints, the company provided The Verge with a statement saying the bending is a result of the manufacturing process, and it shouldn't worsen or negatively affect the iPad.

Second watchOS 5.1.3 beta now available

Following new betas for iOS, macOS and tvOS this morning, Apple has seeded the second watchOS 5.1.3 beta to developers. The release comes just over a week after the first beta, and it can be installed via the Apple Watch app by those with the appropriate configuration profile.
