Bluetti is readying its new project on Indiegogo, a versatile, travel-friendly power station with some cool perks. The project is already fully funded, but there are still a few days to go to secure your early-bird pricing before its April launch.

With the arrival of spring and the summer ahead of us, you’ll be spending more time outdoors, barbecuing with friends and family and enjoying life in general.
Some of us will be going on extended adventures, road trips and summer festivals. Others will prefer to spend their nights camping under the stars, enjoying the tranquil lakeside and visiting national parks, what have you.
Planning is crucial before embarking on extended outdoor adventures. You don’t want to experience power shortages or power your camper via the engine battery. What you need is a portable power station that can keep you going for days.
Introducing Bluetti’s new SwapSolar Ecosystem, an all-in-one solution comprising seamlessly interconnected components: a portable power station with a modular battery and a fridge, freezer and self-cleaning ice maker.
A power station to keep you going for six continuous days
The power station is Bluetti’s AC180T module, paired with its B70 1433Wh hot-swappable battery. The AC180T accepts two batteries at once.
A single battery provides up to 1200W consistent power output (or 1800W with two batteries) across its nine outlets —4x AC outlets, 1x DC outlet and 2x USB-C ports.
For context, a single B70 battery can charge your iPhone over 120 times. Road warriors who need to charge more than two devices at once can instead plug in a multi-port USB-C charger like this 200W charger from Satechi with 6 ports.
The battery fast-charges to 80 percent in 45 minutes (it takes 70 minutes to reach full charge). During periods of high power usage, the AC180T enters the Power Lifting Mode that boosts power output to 2,700W with two batteries installed.
Bluetti says the battery retains 80 percent charge after 3000 complete charge cycles. Though this is not an apple-to-apple comparison, the battery in your iPhone 15 retains 80 percent of its original capacity after 500 full charge cycles.
A fridge, freezer and self-cleaning ice maker
Bluetti wanted to create a cooling solution to provide a complete experience right out of the box. “A widescreen iPod with touch controls, a revolutionary mobile phone and a breakthrough Internet communications device” comes to mind.
Well, the SwapSolar Ecosystem is also your portable fridge that integrates a freezer and a self-cleaning ice maker. The MultiCooler Portable Fridge module, as it’s called, will efficiently cool your foods and drinks during extended adventures.
It includes a 40-liter fridge along with a separate 9-liter compartment dedicated to making ice cubes via running water. It uses ultra-microporous foam layers and Vacuumed Insert Panel (VIP) thermal isolation technology which allows it to go from 30°C (86°F) down to 0°C (32°F) in just fifteen minutes.
The MultiCooler is powered by its own B70 lithium-iron-phosphate battery (LFP), which will withstand high temperatures and provide up to six days of freshness. The last thing you want is degraded cooling performance under hot summer sun. However, you can also power it from your car charger, solar panels or AC outlet.
As a bonus, Bluetti provides an app to remotely monitor your ice-making process and other features of this system. I instantly picture myself at the beaches, checking the app to see when the drinks being cooled in the MultiCooler in my car will be ready. Self-cleaning mode will freshen up the ice maker in under 20 minutes.
Pricing and availability
The SwapSolar Ecosystem is being crowdfunded on Indiegogo. In fact, the project is already well past its funding goal, and there are still eight days to go.
Bluetti treats early backers to significant savings, with early-bird pricing starting at $569 for the MultiCooler + B70 battery combo (down 33 percent from $1328).
Bluetti provides several early-bird packages, with the flagship Solar Combo (MultiCooler + AC180T + B70 + 200W Solar Panel) priced at $2.099 (down 33 percent from $3126). Bluetti includes a 5-year guarantee as standard.
