Apple is readying three new color options for its Beats Fit Pro wireless earbuds which appear as if they were modeled after skin tones.
- What’s happening? Someone has shared animations showing what appear to be unreleased Beats Fit Pro colors as depicted by Apple’s setup cards but it’s unclear when Apple might officially introduce the new finishes.
- Why care? The new colors increase the number of color options for the Beats Fit Pro to seven. These new options let you color-match your Beats Fit Pro to your own skin color this summer.

3 new Beats Fit Pro colors modeled after skin tones
Images and videos of these upcoming colors were shared by @Aaronp613 on Twitter. As MacRumors notes, the new Mica, Ochre and Umbra colors appear to have been modeled after skin tones. We’re unsure if Apple intends for these new finishes to be color-matched to your own skin tone, but it sure looks that way. The key features of the Beats Fit Pro
The Beats Fit Pro is Apple’s sporty earphones from the Betas lineup. Released on November 1, 2021, these $199 noise-canceling earbuds are more affordable than the $249 AirPods Pro. Aside from active noise cancellation, the Beats Fit Pro support Apple’s cool transparency mode — again, just like the AirPods Pro.
Another common feature of both earbuds is an adaptive frequency equalizer, which uses computational audio to tune the low and mid-range tones to better match the fit of the earphones in your ear.
The Beats Fit Pro are meant to be used while jogging, working out and so on so they’re equipped with secure-fit wingtips that help keep them in place. Spatial audio is supported and the Apple H1 chip takes care of seamless pairing, automatic device switching with Apple products and Find My integration.
Pricing and availability
The Beats Fit Pro can be purchased using the Apple Store shopping app [App Store link] and through the company’s online store at apple.com/store, as well as from authorized Apple resellers and distributors.
The earphones are currently available in four color options, named Beats Black, Beats White, Stone Purple and Sage Gray. As mentioned, these finishes should soon expand with the new Mica, Ochre and Umbra colors.
