As of writing, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 has not been announced yet, but Samsung is expected to unveil it in the last week of this month.
Leaks from reliable sources suggest that Samsung is planning to launch two versions of the Z Fold: the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. These two are in addition to the comparatively less expensive flip-phone-style Galaxy Z Flip 8.
There are speculations that these new foldables from Samsung will not have the Privacy Display, which has been praised by reviewers and owners of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
While Samsung is all on track to launch the 8th version of its foldable, iOS 27 (currently in beta) has features like tablet-style iPhone Mirroring windows, suggesting Apple is also jumping on the foldable design this September. Leaks suggest it may be called iPhone Ultra.
Coming back to these wallpapers, they were first published by Fahad Ali Javed (@fahadalijaved). And soon after, the famous tech analyst and leaker Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) confirmed the names of these new Samsung devices and also dropped some different versions of the wallpaper.
The first four original wallpapers below are slightly higher resolution than the rest shared by @UniverseIce. Try them all out and see which one you prefer. You can use these images on an iPhone, Android phone, and small tablet. But any screen bigger than that, and the wallpaper may not look as sharp as you’d want.
