Aside from iPad Air, these wallpapers also look related to the launch image of Apple Studio Display – a gorgeous 5K monitor for Macs – which is in desperate need of an upgrade, with leaks suggesting a new model coming sometime in 2026.
Infinite loop wallpapers
Apple originally called these wallpapers “Noodles,” but I decided to go with a different name. Some names I thought of were:
- iPad Air 4 and 5 official wallpapers (but these devices are old and discontinued, so I dropped this name)
- Apple Studio Display-inspired wallpapers
- Digital maze wallpapers
- Cosmic ribbon wallpapers
Finally, I decided on ‘infinite loop wallpapers,’ as it seemed most suitable. Secondly, this name is also related to Apple. Their previous corporate headquarters (the one before Apple Park) was located at 1 Infinite Loop in Cupertino.
