Christopher Nolan’s latest box office smash is a retelling of Odyssey, an 8th century BCE epic poem by Homer. Accessing a budget of $250M, the project is said to be one of Nolan’s most expensive theatrical performances yet. This pack of The Odyssey wallpapers captures several stills from the action, and sizes them perfectly for iPhone devices.

A star studded cast joins ranks for the experience, featuring: Matt Damon; Anne Hathaway; Tom Holland; Robert Pattinson; Zendaya; Charlize Theron; John Lequizamo; Jonathan Bernthal. Capturing all of the excitement was only possible using IMAX’s 70mm film, the first of Nolans career to be entirely captured by the standard.
While an iPhone screen cannot shine a light toward a full size IMAX experience, scenes from the film are still incredibly captivating, when sized correctly for a mobile device. Below is a collection of nine different scenes from the movie and posters.
The first six were posted on X by @just_unique0, an account that regularly posts great mobile sized downloads. At the gallery start is a shot of Odysseus surrounded by water and cloud. Looking down from his perch, he surveys the experience. His frame appears small against an otherwise limitless backdrop, making it my favorite of the collection.
