PurePKG v1.4.1 brings multiple improvements to the package manager app’s usability and performance

PurePKG, the jailbreak community’s newest package manager app meant to be an alternative to the likes of Sileo and Zebra, received another update over the weekend to version 1.4.

According to an announcement shared by PurePKG lead developer lrdsnow via X (formerly Twitter), the latest update introduces the following changes and improvements:

– Lots of bug fixes
– Performance enhancements
– Option to make all icons circular
– Implement checks to ensure that any added repository supports the current arch
– Add ability to sort packages by installation date
– And more…

If you’re already a PurePKG user, then you should upgrade to the latest version at your earliest convenience, as this appears to be an update that includes important bug fixes and performance improvements that will benefit the user experience.

You can update to the latest version one of two ways: 1) by refreshing your sources in a package manager on your device and downloading the latest update from the PurePKG repository; or 2) by downloading the latest build from GitHub and installing it manually.
