Nanoleaf brings more Matter-enabled smart lights outdoors with its new String Lights

The home smart lighting geniuses over at Nanoleaf on Friday released their much-anticipated Matter-enabled outdoor string lights, which can elevate the ambiance and mood of any outdoor patio or deck with full RGB and cool or warm white hues.

Fully compatible with Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Razer Chroma, these lights can be controlled remotely from a smartphone or tablet via a smart home app connected to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Matter or from Nanoleaf’s own free app.

Not only can you change the color of these lights on the fly, but you can adjust the dimness, set up scenes, and even daisy chain several sets together to expand length for area coverage.

Nanoleaf sells their string lights in 15, 30, and 45-meter lengths, with the 15-meter version having 20 addressable RGBWIC LED bulbs, the 30-meter version having 40 addressable RGBWIC LED bulbs, and the 45-meter version having 60 addressable RGBWIC LED bulbs.

A 15-foot expansion pack that excludes some of the accessories in the box if you already have them from a previous strand is available separately for $99.99, offering a bit of savings over buying two 15-meter smarter kits.
