Kiyoharu is a jailbreak tweak that makes re-hearing your favorite part of a song easier

We all have that one part of a certain song that stands out to us most. Whether it’s a guitar solo, a vocal masterpiece, or a bass drop, there’s just something about that particular part of a song that sometimes has us rewinding the track so we can hear it all over again.

Understanding this craze all too well, iOS developer Antoine decided to create a new jailbreak tweak called Kiyoharu that makes it easier to hear your favorite part of any song automatically.

Once installed, you can tap and hold on the Lock Screen with two fingers while you have music playing to set the range loop that you want to have automatically repeated. You can also use a double-tap gesture on the Lock Screen with only one finger to toggle your range loop on or off on demand.

Note: The double-tap gesture was temporarily removed in a v1.0.1 update because it was found to cause issues with the Serotonin “semi-jailbreak” for the RootHide bootstrap for TrollStore users. It will be re-added in the future when a fix is found. Those using full jailbreaks such as Dopamine or palera1n should be good to use version 1.0 with both gestures enabled.

As you can see for yourself in the screenshot examples above, Kiyoharu gives jailbreakers a straightforward user interface with a slider bar for designating your preferred range loop that will be repeated automatically, as well as a toggle button so that you can enable or disable the range loop repeat as you see fit.

We should note that Kiyoharu doesn’t have any options to configure in the Settings app, but it does add a preference pane with a ‘How to use’ tutorial embedded within and with credits to the developers who made the tweak possible.

If you’re interested in giving Kiyoharu a try, then you can purchase it for $0.99 from the Chariz repository via your favorite package manager app. The tweak supports jailbroken devices running iOS & iPadOS 15, 16, and 17.
