Speck builds upon MagSafe with latest cases for iPhone 15 lineup featuring anti-slip ClickLock technology

One of the awesome things that I’ve come to appreciate from MagSafe on my iPhone is the ability to not only charge it, but to attach accessories such as wallets, grips, and more.

Speck ClickLock cases and accessories.

Some of those aforementioned accessories are prone to falling off with just the right amount of lateral torque applied to them, but our friends at Speck are out ahead of the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro series handsets with some new case accessories that virtually eliminate this problem.

Speck ClickLock technology.

Say hello to Speck’s new ClickLock technology, a new standard for Speck cases and accessories that features a special attachment point near the bottom of the case that actually sets into the case material to prevent accidental side-offs that regular MagSafe accessories are prone to.

Currently, Speck offers three different ClickLock-compatible accessories, including a car vent mount, a desk stand and grip combo called the StandyGrip, and a wallet. These accessories are specifically designed to be used with Speck’s ClickLock-compatible cases.

Speaking of cases, Speck says they’ve made available 169 new cases in 17 different designs and 20 new colors for all four of Apple’s new iPhones, including the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Of those, 57 of them include the new ClockLock technology in them, which means there’s a recess in the back for the protruding part of ClickLock accessories to go.

Speck Presidio2 GRIP with ClickLock.

I’ve long been a proponent of Speck’s Presidio-line of cases; not only because they fit well, but they feel great in the hand and don’t add a lot of heft while still providing enhanced drop protection that most users need in their day-to-day. The addition of these accessories only makes the lineup more enticing.

Below, you will find links to ClickLock-compatible cases at Speck’s website:

The Presidio Perfect Clear, Presidio2 Pro, and Presidio2 GRIP cases retail for $39.95-49.95, while the Presidio Perfect Clear GRIP and Presidio Lux cases retail for $44.95-49.95. The non-ClickLock Gemshell cases retail from $24.95-34.95. The price ranges depending on the size of your iPhone.

Please note that in order to use ClickLock accessories with your iPhone, you must have a ClickLock-compatible Speck case for your iPhone. Non-ClickLock cases will still work with MagSafe, but won’t offer the teething grip of a ClickLock accessory.

Speaking of accessories, here are some links to those:

Both the StandyGrip and wallet accessories retail for $29.95, while the car vent mount retails for $39.95.
