VolPause lets jailbreakers pause and play music playback by pressing both volume buttons

Jailbreakers who are looking for an easier way to control their Music playback are in luck this week, as iOS developer iCraze has just released a new and free jailbreak tweak known as VolPause.

The name is particularly telling in the tweak’s functionality, as VolPause allows the user to press both the volume up and the volume down buttons simultaneously to either play or pause Now Playing media.

Obviously, if you have music playing already at the time of using the gesture, then it would pause the playback. The opposite would be true if music wasn’t already playing – it would begin playing instead of pausing.

Without any options to configure, VolPause is a particularly simple jailbreak tweak that strives to make basic functionality easier to use, especially if your iPhone is in your pocket and you want to discreetly pause or play songs without appearing distracted by looking at the screen to achieve the same result.

Anyone interested in giving the new VolPause jailbreak tweak a try can acquire it for free from iCraze’s personal repository via their favorite package manager app. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 15 and 16 devices.

If you’re not already taking advantage of iCraze’s personal repository, then you can add it to your package manager app of choice by using the URL provided below:
